Kaufman Segal Design provides both residential and commercial interior design services. Our full service capabilities include custom design furniture and millwork, construction management, material specification, and planning. We handle all aspect of the project from beginning to end. David Kaufman received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Drake University, Des Moines. After working with Paul Granata Interiors, he started his own firm in 1990. He has been an Illinois Licensed Interior Designer since 1989.

Tom Segal, currently President of the Board of Governors of Harrington College of Design, has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and Master of Architecture from The University of Illinois at Chicago. He started his own firm in 1995.

Each with his own business, David and Tom began collaborating. By 1996, it was clear the synergy they had was unique and should be more permanent; Kaufman Segal Design was born.

KSD has done projects in Chicago, New York, Palm Springs, Boston, Boca Raton, Minneapolis, Kansas City--literally around the country.
